With Victorian photographers eager to return to work, AIPP Vic have shared this Covid-safe checklist with some state-specific resources.
1 – COVID safe plan https://www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/creating-a-covidsafe-workplace .
This is ESSENTIAL, along with your ABN.
You cannot work without one. Make it available on your website and have a remote copy available when working remotely, and display where necessary in studios.
2 – Infection Control Training https://www.health.gov.au/resources/apps-and-tools/covid-19-infection-control-training.
A short online resource with a certificate on completion. A great resource to have on hand and display in studios or on your website for client’s peace of mind.
3 – Metro – Regional Workers Permit https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/metro-regional-work-travel-permit-coronavirus-covid-19.
Once border restrictions are eased this will not be necessary. However, until then when travelling beyond your 25km and into regional areas, or vice versa, you will be required to have one to travel for work.
4 – Keep a personal Travel Log.
This is required for contact tracing, remote and location sessions, and should include date, time, location, client details / phone number and your business information.
5 – Cleaning Checklist: https://www.safeworkaustralia.gov.au/doc/cleaning-checklist-covid-19.
6 – Studio/Workplace COVID Safe Posters: https://www.safeworkaustralia.gov.au/doc/signage-and-posters-covid-19.
For display in the workplace, covering safe distancing and how to slow the spread of Covid.
7 – Maintain an Attendance Register .
8 – Have Disposable Masks, sanitiser, antibacterial wipes, cleaning agents available.
