Please join us in warmly welcoming the newest co-opted Director to the AIPP National Board: Joshua Holko APP MPhotogII.

Joshua is a highly regarded nature, landscape and wildlife photographer specialising in polar photography.

He brings with him a clear vision for the AIPP and more than decade of experience as a director and owner of one of Australia’s most successful photographic travel companies.

Well-suited

Joshua’s innovative and industry-leading direction in the photographic travel business paired with his prior corporate experience as a sales and marketing director, make him an ideal person to help steer the AIPP successfully into the future.

Joshua’s depth of experience with sponsor relationships, internet marketing, web presence, and business operations will no doubt prove to be valuable assets to the Board.

More about Joshua

Joshua is a fully accredited AIPP Master of Photography with two gold bars living in Melbourne. He studied with distinction at the Australian Photography Studies College and the Australian College of Journalism. 

In 2019 Joshua was named the AIPP Victorian Epson Nature Photographer of the Year and was a finalist in the Australian Professional Photography Awards (APPA) Nature category.

In 2017 and 2018 he was named the AIPP Victorian Epson Professional Documentary Photographer of the Year as well as being a finalist in the Science, Wildlife and Wild Places category.

Joshua has travelled extensively throughout Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand, North and South America, Canada, China, Europe, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Greenland, Mongolia, the Arctic and Antarctica.

He’s officially represented by Philip Kulpa and the Source Photographica Gallery and Joshua’s representation extends to the Wilderness Gallery at Cradle Mountain, Tasmania and internationally to the Aspen Gallery in Aspen, USA.

Joshua’s work has been exhibited at numerous international shows and expos across the USA and Europe including Photokina in Germany and PhotoPlus in New York.
